Assignment #3 Statement of Interests & Goals

This assignment is a combination and integration of your results from

Assignments #1 and #2, plus some additional analysis. Using the information from these previous assignments, organize a 2-3 page "personal narrative" of your career interests and goals. Your paper should include the following:

 A summary of the results of your interests assessment. You should also include any new thoughts that you now have about these results.

 A summary of the details about the occupations you identified for yourself. Include an occupation for each of the zones you selected. You should also include any new thoughts that you now have about what you learned about each of them.

 An explanation for how each occupation would be a good "fit" for you, given your past and future experiences or training, your interests, your skills and abilities, etc. Is graduate school a good fit for you? Why or why not?

 Your major career goals and the sub-goals (e.g., internships, courses, graduate education, etc.) needed to reach those goals. If one of your chosen occupations requires graduate education, what are the requirements for admission to graduate school in the area you have chosen? What will you need to do in order to be competitive for these graduate programs?
