Glossary, 5%
As you do the readings each week you need to write down unfamiliar words, terms and phrases as you come across them, find out what they mean and then write down the meaning in your own words

On the Friday of the weeks of sessions 4, 8 & 12 you must submit your glossary via LMS (see LMS for dates).
It can be handwritten and then scanned, or it can be typed.

Glossary, 5%
Your glossary should cover the textbook chapters as follows;
You are expected to have at least 5 words per chapter
| Glossary 1 | Chapters 1, 2, 3, 5 & 6 |
| Glossary 2 | Chapters 4, 7, 8, 9 & 10 |
| Glossary 3 | Chapters 11, 12, 13, 14 & 15 |

Assessment 1: Lab report introduction plan, 15%
Due Friday October 2nd, by 5pm, submit via LMS

Your plan needs to include the following;
A statement of the topic that you are researching
Reference details for 5 peer reviewed journal articles and a short statement of how each article is relevant to the topic
A statement of the specific aims of your study
Clearly stated hypotheses
