Psychology 1010 Research Paper

Pick a topic of personal interest to you or from the suggested list below, and type a (2-4 page) research paper. It could have a cover page, but should definitely contain one typed page, and a Works Cited page. Just staple together, no folders, plastic holders, etc.

Research paper is due Wednesday, October 28, 2020. This research paper is 20% of your final grade. You will be graded on length, effort, creativity, well-developed clear thesis, organization, thesis follow through, reference material and sources. Make sure you discuss the history as well as how the word was derived in your paper. If applicable, describe or list the treatments and medication for your topic. In your conclusion, incorporate the reason on why you chose that particular topic.

The research paper must be type in your own words (except for proper referencing) and should include an introduction, body, and conclusion that is typed, single or double-spaced, with 12-point font and one inch margins. Use the textbook as a guide for APA or MLA referencing. You only need the name and year in parenthesis, for example (Duke, 2011), in the text of the paper. Then you cite the full reference on the work cited page, like the references in the back of your textbook.
