How to determine the requirements and underlying factors that contribute to the significance of building and deploying an application iterating DevOps processes?

DevOps is a combination of both developers and organizational efforts to automate both continuous integration and continuous delivery of new software updates while we guarantee their correctness and reliability (Leite et al., 2020). The DevOps challenges can differ from the perspective of engineer, manager and researchers. Continuous Integration and continuous delivery is a set of principles and patterns and practices designed to make deployments within the large scale distributed system, complex production environment or any embedded/routine system (Humble, 2018). The advantages of using DevOps is a combination of both continuous integration & continuous delivery framework that deploys applications into production with zero down time.

A lot of organizations have a problem in determining the right tools that can be used for continuous integration and continuous deployment in an agile environment that provide a stable Infrastructure which is robust and reliable based on the industry. In this paper, I’ll be focusing on the importance of DevOps culture and how it fits in the software industry in terms of providing continuous delivery. I will also discuss on how the Continuous Development process can be achieved and what the companies would need to focus on in making their decisions when picking tools and how they would be significant in building an enterprise application. Most of the literature focuses only on the tools which are available and how they could be used. In my research, I will also be focusing on what are the steps that would be needed in deciding which tools are useful for certain types of applications and how they contribute when combined with various tools.
