Rising Action

· What sort of conflict confronts the main character(s) (danger, adversity, opposition, betrayal, narrow escapes)?

· Is there a predominant concept in the story (deceit, danger, betrayal, etc.)? Explain.

· How does the author handle characterization (description, dialogue, actions)?

Climax

· What is the revelation, rescue, or event that brings the conflict to an end?

Falling Action

· What is the general theme of the story? What is the underlying theme?

· Name any other Bible stories with a similar theme.

Resolution

· Describe the resolution.

· What do you think was the purpose of this story?
