Title: PROPOSAL ON MIGRATION TO CLOUD

Student’s Name: Dheeraj Gona

My PPT slide presentation will be about the data migration to cloud. This will help in ensuring that the other people are aware of the importance of migrating the data to cloud and how it affect the performance of an organization. I will again ensure that the security concerns addressed by the cloud computing. As a result of the cloud migration, different risks will be avoided therefore making it easy for different organizations to achieve their objectives and goals within the stipulated time. (Silva Filho, 2018)

I will again make it clear through the presentation the concerns which need to be considered before migrating to clouds. Some of the factors to be considered are size of an organization, the type of data to be handled and the resources available in the organization. The people should be aware that the migration to cloud is meant to increase the security of the data due to the fact that the systems cannot be hacked. The reduced cases of hacking ensures that data is not lost hence different organizations end up making profits in all what they do. The use of internet in the storage of organization’s data benefits the organization in different ways. However, the cloud computing allows the customers and a business to use different applications without having to install them and thus install files at the computers having the internet access.

Moreover, remote resources are required by different organizations hence saving organizations the cost of the servers and the other equipment. The topic on migrating to cloud will be of great help to me in that it will enable me to understand how cloud computing can be used to stop the software piracy forever, how it reduces the cost of doing business, how it increases the productivity in an organization, how it makes the lives of people easier and the multiple storages and backup options. (de Morais, 2017)

As far as the multiple storages and backup options are concerned, that will give me enough knowledge on what should be done to different organization to reduce the risks brought about by the losses of data. Moreover, the characteristics, components and architectures of cloud computing play important roles in ensuring that the dynamic computing infrastructures are achieved in the right manner. The components, the characteristics and the architecture of cloud computing contribute to the broad network access, resource pooling, measured services and the rapid elasticity. However, they make it easy for the user to use the available systems without having to experience a lot of obstacles. As a result of the characteristics, the components and the architecture of the cloud computing, the organization data is stored in the best way possible hence safeguarding the integrity of the organization. This makes it easy for me to realize the fact that the characteristics of cloud computing are same as the architecture and components of cloud computing.

On the other hand, the backup media of organization’s systems should be stored offline to reduce the cases of hacking. Cloud computing is mainly used as it does not allow the company to remain onsite. Moreover, the backup systems in the company comprises of incremental backups and the regular. Again, the backup and the security provided to the company’s data help in protecting the systems from the human errors and the deletion of the important files from the system. (Patel, 2017)
