The Concept of morality in pre-modern Europe
It needs to be 5 pages in length, double-spaced, MLA format with an introduction, conclusion, thesis statement, and specific examples from the readings to support arguments.
Here is the prompt:
Considering at least three of the readings in this course, assess the concept of morality in pre-modern Europe. How did ancient and medieval peoples define right from wrong? What ideologies, beliefs, or institutions supported these definitions? What do these values suggest about the nature of society, and the way in which individuals made sense of their world? Your response must include at least one ancient source, and one medieval source.
I will also provide the readings I think are most useful and efficient.
