EatWell Project Recommendations

EatWell is an eCommerce company committed to offering new food services to its customers through the website and Application interface. However, lately, the website and the application are taking too long to respond to customer requests, and the site is responsively prolonged. This paper points out my assessment and proposal to ensure that the new EatWell website and application meets our customer’s needs.

As a project manager, the critical addressable areas include the slow website responsibility, mobile applications lagging, and difficulty placing orders on our respective platforms, in a bid to mitigate against the slowness of the website. I resolved to formulate policies intended to ensure that the website's uptime is always 100% and free from denial of service attacks. Additionally, the measures in place include reducing the website web page, specification of the image dimensions of the products, utilizing the content delivery network to accommodate customers across other states, and the use of caching and in-memory technology. Nonetheless, the website needs to be optimized to result in the google bots being able to pick it up first on the search engine as a result of the company website having both inbound and outbound links that are meant to optimize its search engine availability (Calegari, 2019). SEO optimization results in faster loading of sites, which will result in increased customer satisfaction. No customer would be discouraged from shopping on the website or mobile application because of its slow responsiveness.

However, the proposed solutions will require the organization to acquire more staff and software. Therefore, the proposal's feasibility would require top-level management approval based on the information that has been previously obtained decision support systems. For instance, the organization needs to address the denial of service attacks adequately, resulting in the EatWell website being unavailable due to the breach of the system's file vulnerability assets. Both Local File Inclusion and Remote File inclusion result in Denial of Service, resulting in the web application being inaccessible to the customers because of the big data that has been simulated to be included in the web server through the breach of the file inclusion vulnerability in an organization.

Web application uptake in the global economy has been on the rise. Equally, so have attacks on the web servers being on the trajectory with many hackers being after company data either for manipulation, blackmail, or selling it to the highest bidder. Over the years, web applications have been the core framework benefitting both home use, personal use, and commercial use. However, security flaws have been inevitable during the programming resulting in file inclusion vulnerabilities in which attackers tend to infiltrate the web server either through SQL injection that allows them to manipulate and access the webserver that is poorly designed.

In conclusion, the web application's success is embedded in the optimization and elimination of bottlenecks in the organizational software, as I have suggested above. Additionally, cloud services can be an alternative solution for our organization in the future in a bid to cut on costs and increase customer service delivery.
