The pressure for technological advancement in nursing care has changed the nature of patient relations in the wards and inpatient hospital care. In return the healthcare organizations have raised C suite positions to deal with the complexities in patient care to increase patient satisfaction, they have invested in IT in nursing and Chief Information officer. There is no protocol to guide the practice and the practice is not up to date with the current evidence on transformational leadership. My project will investigate the leadership attributes necessary for the digital technology change. There will be no marked financial burden on the project |

Significance
|
Most of the investments in the IT solutions and C suite positions have not improved the outcomes of patient care. The problem lies in the initial positions whereby leaders struggle with initiation and change. They want to maintain the od leadership style as the traditional view of change.

Problems/Concern
|
The stakeholders have stuck to the traditional way of leadership s being authoritative and knowledgeable. The stakeholders also are hesitating on providing some of the important data required in this project

The project will help in reducing the cost of care of patients The project will initiate change in the leadership styles

The audience includes the top managers of healthcare organizations, the nurse leaders from the hospital nurse manager to the ward level nurse leaders

In the current nursing practice in the organization, there has been laxity in the achievement of the organization goals and the nurses at times complain of less motivation their places of work. Some of them do not remember the mission statement of the organization and its goals. This encourages substandard performance that negatively impacts patient outcomes |

|
The study aims at assessing the influence of the leaders assertive on performance of the employees. This is in need to determine the need for change in the leader’s qualities an attribute.

The stakeholders have not raised any concern so far however the nurses may not be willing to give all the information regarding the qualities of the leader and at time assertiveness vary, which makes it immeasurable |

When the structure of the board is in line with the current changes and practice, the general performance of the organization improves and the patient’s outcome are met. This topic will address how the management theories and core competencies of the board affect general organization performance
