Project Scope Description
Project Treadstone will create a functional, real-time operational metrics dashboard intranet
application for OmniCorp’s five widget manufacturing assembly lines and all related materials
to allow for the Treadstone dashboard to operate properly on an ongoing basis.
Acceptance Criteria
Application access will be tested using suitably configured accounts on OmniCorp desktop
and laptop computers attached to OmniNet, OmniCorp’s wide area network.
Application access will be tested using suitably configured accounts using OmniCorp’s VPN
technology on an approved tablet or smartphone device.
Application performance will be tested using suitably configured accounts to verify
manufacturing information can be accessed no more than fifteen minutes after it is
generated.
Project Deliverables
Functional intranet site running on the OmniWeb private cloud environment.
Application support documentation for system maintenance staff.
Application instructions and help guide, using OmniCorp’s online format and tools.
Application training materials using OmniCorp’s standard TrainNet software training
package.

Project Constraints
The Treadstone dashboard must be completed by the end of the next fiscal year.
A preliminary budget of $500,000 has been approved for this project. It is understood that
the project budget will be developed as part of the planning process, but management has
indicated that the project budget can be expanded to no more than $750,000.
No work by outside parties can be done on this project unless the parties involved are on
the OmniCorp approved contractor list.
Project Assumptions
The software currently used by the manufacturing equipment will be sufficient for use in
this project.
Three six hour manufacturing shifts are run for each widget manufacturing line.
No manufacturing work is expected to be performed on weekends.
