Statement of Work

Scope of Work

The initial portion of the project is to analyze and discover the business requirements of the

functional areas for the new ERP system. We will begin the implementation of the new ERP

system once the needs and requirements of the functional areas are fully recognized and

addressed. Finally, when the new system has been implemented and completely tested, it is the

time to ensure proper training of the staff as well as the maintenance of the system.

Location of Work

All work performed for Tesla will be initiated and executed at the headquarters, which is located

in Palo Alto, in the state of California.

Period of Performance

The beginning date for the implementation of the new ERP system will be on May 18, 2017.

This project is expected to be completed on March 18, 2018. The operating hours will be

Monday through Friday from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM. The number of working hours per week

will total to 40 hours. All work will be performed on-site.

Applicable Standards

All work performed for Tesla will have to comply with difference areas of regulation. First and

foremost, all work performed with comply with the standards set by Tesla. We will make sure all

exchange of data applies with area regulations, depending on the geographical areas Tesla does

business in.

Acceptance Criteria

The following criteria is to be followed to be considered an acceptable level of work:

ERP system must be implemented with as little chance of delay as possible.

The cost of work will stay within budget constraints unless prior approval is granted.

System implementation will address all user stories.

System implementation will implement all Tesla standards through customization.

Consultation will end once subject matter experts are developed in each functional business

department.

Special Requirements

For this project, project managers must report back to stakeholders on a weekly basis minimum.

Any increases in costs must be presented to stakeholders, and wait for approval prior to taking

action. Current employees will be asked for feedback and input along the way to help ease

transition from legacy system.
