Overview

For project you will be performing statistical analysis on the urgent care model used in lab. Do not make any changes to the code except as necessary for data collection. Complete the following: *design of experiments *output analysis written up with statistically supportable conclusions *sensitivity analysis * decision-making information/conclusions/graphs

The best write-ups will be concise and complete without being overly long. An excess of text simply makes it appear that you do not know how to edit, and do not understand what is important in your work. If you have trouble with this, leave time for a visit to a writing center. The worst thing you can do wrong is to state "conclusions" that are not backed up by valid statistics.

Write-up: 1-2pages, not including appendices.

Use the following headers to organize your report.

Experimental Design. Describe your experimental design choices, including how you selected your warm up period (if any), run length, number of replications, and controls to vary. All your choices should be well supported.

Output Analysis. Describe the results of your model replications, giving statistically valid inferences. Use English (carefully) to describe your inferences. Include screen prints of your confidence intervals in an appendix. THIS SECTION IS HUGELY IMPORTANT. If you do not state your results in statistically appropriate terms, you will lose a lot of points.

Sensitivity Analysis. Summarize how your results change when you change key parameters.

Conclusion/Recommendation. Describe your overall conclusions and recommendations in 1-2 paragraphs. Make sure you tell the client what you think they should do.

Graphs. Include one page of supporting graphs in an appendix.
