Need Parts B and C of this project
Intro
David, your manager at Springfield Youth Baseball (SYB) describes himself as a "visual learner". He would like you to help him understand the data better by creating charts that visualize the data, and also write observations and insights that help him understand what he’s looking at.
Specifically, David would like you to create charts that help him do the following:
· Compare the number of Users from each channel.
· Compare the engagement of each channel.
· Compare the revenue from each channel.
· Compare the open rate of each email he sent.
· Compare the click-through rate of each email he sent.
· Assess whether his reach and engagement on Facebook has been increasing.
In this project part, you will create visualizations to help David understand the data from the three recent marketing campaigns. You will also compose a one-sentence observation and a one-sentence insight for each of those charts.
The specific charts you will create, with corresponding observations and insights, include:
· Bar chart of users per channel in the acquisition report
· Bar chart of pages/session in the acquisition report
· Bar chart of revenue in the acquisition report
· Pie charts of open rate in the email report.
· Pie chart of click-through rate in the email report.
· Line chart of impressions on the Facebook report
· Line chart of comments, shares, and likes on the Facebook report
The steps below outline how to complete each visualization.
Step 1: Acquisition Charts
For this step, you will work in the first tab of this data sheet, titled “Acquisition”. In this step, you will create three bar charts, each with an observation and an insight.
Bar Chart of Users
· Examine column B in the Acquisition Report, titled “Users”.
· Create a bar chart that shows the number of users for each channel. Be sure to include a descriptive title.
· Insert the graph under “Part B: Visualizations” on the Acquisition Report.
· Under “Part B: Observations and Insights” write a one-sentence observation based on the chart you created and a 1 to 2 sentence insight based on your observation that might be helpful to your manager, David, regarding this chart.
Bar Chart of Pages/ Session
· Your second chart for this step is a bar chart of users. Examine column F in the Acquisition Report, titled “Pages/Session”.
· Create a bar chart that shows the pages/session for each type of channel. Be sure to include a descriptive title.
· Insert the graph under “Part B: Visualizations” on the Acquisition Report.
· Under “Part B: Observations and Insights” write a one-sentence observation based on the chart you created and a 1 to 2 sentence insight based on the observation you made that might be helpful to your manager, David, regarding this chart.
Bar Chart of Revenue
· Your third chart for this step is a bar chart of revenue. Examine column I in the Acquisition Report, titled “Revenue”.
· Create a bar chart that shows the revenue for each type of channel.
Step 2: Email Charts
For this step, you will work in the second tab of this data sheet, titled “Emails”. You will create two pie charts, each with an observation and an insight.
Pie Chart of Open Rate
· Create a pie chart that shows the average open rate for all four emails, as found in the Summary data you calculated in Part A. Be sure to include a descriptive title.
· Insert the graph under “Part B: Visualizations” on the Email sheet.
· Under “Part B: Observations and Insights” write a one-sentence observation based on the chart you created.
Pie Chart of Click-Through Rate
· Create a pie chart that shows the average click-through rate for all four emails, as found in the Summary data you calculated in Part A. Be sure to include a descriptive title.
· Insert the graph under “Part B: Visualizations” on the Email sheet.
· Under “Part B: Observations and Insights” write a one-sentence observation based on the chart you created and a one-sentence insight based on the observations you made that might be helpful to your manager, David, regarding these charts.
Step 3: Facebook Charts
For this step, you will work in the fourth tab of this data sheet, titled “Facebook”. You will create two line charts, each with an observation and an insight, for this step.
Line Chart of Impressions
· Create a line chart that shows the impressions for each of the Facebook posts. Be sure to include a descriptive title.
· Insert the graph under “Part B: Visualizations” on the Facebook sheet.
· Under “Part B: Observations and Insights” write a one-sentence observation that summarizes what this chart is showing.
Line Chart of Comments, Shares, and Likes
· Create a line chart that shows the comments, shares, and likes for each of the Facebook posts. There should be three lines on your chart (one for comments, one for shares, and one for likes). Be sure to include a descriptive title.
· Insert the graph under “Part B: Visualizations” on the Facebook sheet.
· Under “Part B: Observations and Insights” write a one-sentence observation based on the chart you created and a one-sentence insight based on the observation you made that might be helpful to your manager, David, regarding these charts.
