Assignment Overview Students are asked to design and undertake a research project based on the use and qualitative analysis of interview data. Students should interview two non- Research Methods Les Roches students about their internship experience and define and then answer a research question related to any aspect of an internship. A poster summarising all the elements of a small-scale empirical research project should be submitted as should a document of supporting material. Overall aim: To enable students to demonstrate their understanding of research design and their qualitative data collection, analysis and presentation skills.
Learning outcomes: 1. Appraise qualitative and quantitative research methods and strategies. 2. Formulate research questions, hypotheses and variables. 3. Assess existing research. 4. Justify a research design. Organisation and methodology:
• The poster should follow the template provided on Moodle. • The supporting document should contain the elements stated in the
