INDIVIDUAL FINAL Social Media & Digital Strategy Project Rubric

100 Points toward Grade

Assignment

Choose a local, business, nonprofit, news organization, or your own personal brand and develop a social media and digital strategy the can map out a plan and/or creative campaign.
 
 There are no word count requirements. Ensure that your paper uses proper headings, subheads and paragraph formatting so that it is easy to read and presented professionally. Use images and graphics only to support your ideas or when appropriate.

Your paper must be uploaded to Moodle as a PDF document for grading.

Guidelines

I. Cover Sheet

A. Title of your strategy, Subject

B. Your name

II. Overview of your strategy

A. Brief background in the business and the problem (one of the five primary business goals) they are trying to solve

B. Provide your social media strategy statement

C. Provide a brief overview of the creative concept for your campaign that will help achieve this strategy statement

III. Target Audience

A. Identify and describe your target audience(s) and explain why these are the audience you believe need to be targeted to create change.

B. Describe what you would like these audience to do in this strategy. What is the call to action?

IV. Plan for executing your strategy and campaign

A. Describe each of the steps to accomplish your goal in your strategy

1. Social Media objective and the audiences that will be involved

2. Tools and tech to be used

3. Things to measure to ensure success

B. (Repeat previous step if necessary. For example, walk through Listening, then Talking, then Energizing, etc.)

V. Closing Summary

VI. Presentation

A. Ensure your document demonstrates the following

1. Clear and easy to read

2. Creative ideation

3. Demonstrates the use of learned concepts and terminology

4. Proper use of images and graphics to support ideas
