QUESTION 2:
There are two variables, x and y, here ‘x’ is the percentage of people 25 years or older with a bachelor’s degree or higher level of education and ‘y’ is percentage of female population. I am comparing percentage of people 25 years or older with a bachelor’s degree or higher level of education and the percentage of female population for 15 counties of Florida.
QUESTION 3:
Independent variable is a variable that is independent of anything and doesn’t not change because of another variable, whereas dependent variable is the variable dependent on the independent variable and it value varies according to the independent variable.
Here, the percentage of female population (y) is the dependent variable. It depends on (x) the percentage of people 25 years or older with a bachelor’s degree or higher level of education.

α = 0.05, I chose this alpha because it is the standard and most commonly used alpha. Also, because when there is no given alpha we are instructed to assume the value of alpha to be 0.05.
