Kroger target people who are looking for food, beverages, dairy, and personal care products who have an income and can buy products because they want to increase their customers and sales. Kroger tries to satisfy their target market by offering a loyalty program which gives sale and promotion to customers who joined the loyalty program. Kroger tries to build a long-term advantage over the competitors by using the data that were taken from the customers when they sign up for the loyalty program and use it to improve the customer experience. Kroger has an excellent strategy to collect data from the customers and know them better so that the can communicate with them better.
Aldi target market is local people who have high income and low income. Aldi wants to want to increase the number of stores to 900 new the end of 2022, so they need sales. Aldi tries by offering good quality products at a low price. Aldi builds a long-term advantage over the competitors by offering promotion and sales promotion. Aldi has a successful retail strategy by offering low prices on items to attract customers.
