· Create a new and unique infographic. This means that it cannot be anywhere on the internet in order to get credit.
· Infographic can be about anything you would like, as long as it is interesting to you and has lots of data associated with it!
· Infographic must make the viewer want to take some action. For example: An infographic about EWaste should have not only lots of data about EWaste, but also should make the viewer want to take action. You can also have some items on there that show what types of action people can take.
· Infographic must have at least 8 significant data items on it.
· Infographic must have at least 4 charts that you have created with the numbers you found in your research.
· All charts have to be created within the tool and not ‘lifted’ from the web.
· Infographic must reflect true and accurate data. This means that all data must be real data from a verifiable and credible source. Please add the source(s) of the data in a separate citation word document as well as in the Infographic. APA or MLA citations needed.
· Infographic must be turned in as a .gif, .jpeg, or .png.
· You can use any infographic software you like (Piktochart seems to be a popular one).
· Make sure your infographic looks like an infographic! Also, it needs to be easy to read and understand.
· This is an individual project.
· The projects will be presented and voted upon.
· Infographic length must be between 2 and 5 pages (landscape) (11x42.5)
Outcome
· For this individual project, you will be graded on the following rubric.
Please note that if your infographic or chart is found in any form elsewhere on the internet, it will receive a 0 as that is considered plagiarism. Be sure to do your research!
· Entered in a separate Word document, also turned in as part of the project assignment.
· File is .gif, .jpeg, or .png.
· Good look and feel – easy to read and understand. Looks like an infographic.

Daniels College of Business Office of Entrepreneurship
On the due date, each class will vote for the top infographic within their class.
The voting will allow each class participant to vote for their top 3 infographics (in order). Participants cannot vote for their own infographic. The rank of 1 will give that infographic a rating of 3, rank of 2 a 2 and rank of 3 a 1. The scores will be added up and the 5 teams with the top score will earn an extra 5 points on this assignment. The top 1 team will earn an extra 10 points.
The top infographic from each of the INFO 1010 classes move on to the final round.
For the final round, the top infographics will then be distributed throughout the University of Denver via an online survey instrument and voted upon by other students and faculty.
