Future Societies - GLO-420 - BOS1

Hello!

It is a simulation/discussion in which each team plays the role of a stakeholder attempting to come up with a strategy to address one of the “Grand Challenges” facing human society in the coming decades. In this simulation, the class as a whole will be presented with a proposal to address the Grand Challenge and each team will have to develop a response (and negotiating position) to this proposal, from the perspective of the stakeholder the team represents.

· The role of a stakeholder my team play is Large Institutional Investors in the U.S.

· The “Grand Challenge” is Climate Change; the challenge of the assignment will be to see if the Teams can develop a consensus position on a set of strategies that will reduce carbon emissions and limit the warming of the Earth’s Climate by the year 2061.

· The stimulation contains three steps (you have helped with the first two)

1. Outlines the position of the stakeholder in regard to the Grand Challenge

2. An analysis of the other stakeholders in the simulation (Check “Comments for the Last Paper”)

3. This Assignment!!!

This assignment is a 1500-word paper that elaborates and explains our positions; we have a presentation along with it. What our teacher says are:
