Overview

It’s important that your plan describes how you will protect the assets that you identified in the Plan section. Remember that both technical and non-technical controls are necessary for a defense-in-depth strategy.

Create the Protect Section

For this assignment, create the Protect section of your report. This section addresses the following:

· Program control design, control selection, and implementation

· Training

· Maintenance

Protect Section Requirements

Include the following information:

1. Write a detailed explanation of the countermeasures associated with  each of the risks you identified in the Plan section. Include a total of at least 5 countermeasures for the risks. Use all kinds of countermeasures (managerial, technical, and operational – Skim Chapter-8, 9, and 10 for examples).

2. Explain how devised security metrics will improve with these countermeasures.
