What is to be included in the Second Part of the Project (the Word document)

1. Title Page

2. Table of Contents with Page Numbers (no need of page numbers of Appendix A or B)

3. Executive Summary

Should include briefly why the study was conducted, key findings, and key recommendations. Short and to the point.

3. Interpreting outputs in Detail Findings

· Takes the longest time

· I have pretty much interpreted every single output in the Lecture Notes. In addition, I have worked the homework problem “Additional Question 2” in Page 26-27 in your lecture notes. Also in Yuja recordings. What you get for your project is a different dataset but interpretations will be the same.

· Make sure under Detail Findings for each analysis you mention first the research question, what analysis was performed, findings, and conclusion (Mandatory. Don’t tell refer Appendix A without interpreting findings in words under detail findings)

4. Discussion

· Taking into account the purpose of the research, discuss your key findings. It is not once again summarizing your key findings from Detail Findings but taking these key findings as a whole and applying it to the purpose of the research. How do they all fit in? When you look at the key findings holistically, they should be leading to your recommendations.

5. Recommendations

· Need to focus on both students and administrators. They should be stemming from discussion of findings. But what you specifically suggest can be your thinking. For example, let’s say students are more stressed out now based on research. So what you suggest to manage stress can come from outside this research or your own knowledge.

**** You can combine Discussion & Recommendations under one heading if it is easier for you. But my preference is for you to keep it separate.

6. Appendix A

Illustrations that are numbered with titles. Refer to them in the body of the paper.

2. Appendix B

All SPSS analyses (not illustrations). Please have them in order of the questions. Provided they are out of order, please tell which output refer to which research question. Do NOT refer the reader to Appendix B. This material is ONLY supporting documents.

1. Honesty Statement

From syllabus. Cut and paste and sign your name or type

Keep the entire document in Word. Note you can “cut” and “paste” spss outputs into a word document, but you have to do them one output at a time!

Preparing Data File

· Missing values – leave as is

· Data entry errors – recheck if data is entered correctly

· Make sure all variables are defined and for discrete variables values have labels

You don’t have to submit your data file to me!!!! I only need the word document.
