Subject: Progress Report of Letter to Investor and Self and Group Evaluation
Part 1: Overview of Project
The overview of this project has fallen into the categories of recreation and electronics. Our team has decided on the idea of producing blinds, named Rotary Blinds, with multiple settings using the concept of a rotary phone. The product will help set the blinds at different settings easier than the old fashion way with a lift cord. The idea also includes the possibility of setting the blinds to go from one setting to another at a set time if wished. We are incorporating the initial idea of using a mechanical function and recreation.
Part 2: Prior Week’s Work (28 February 2019)
During last week’s class the focus was to make the company’s profile and specify the positions within the company, and make a layout for a company website and indicate what it will include. Furthermore, questions for a focus group was created and a target market was specified.
· Specified company profile/positions
· Created a website
· Composed focus group questions
· Developed a target market
Part 3: Tonight’s Work (7 March 2019)
During tonight’s class the focus was on initiating a letter to an investor for our company. We decided who we were going to write to and who was going to work on what park of the letter. From the self and group evaluation we made it clear that we were all on the same page with the different aspects of the project. Furthermore, we made a google docs document for the letter to the investor and the rest of the midterm.
· Initiated the letter to investor
· Evaluated ourselves and the group
· Introduced to the midterm due after spring break
