Brief overview
SAS is known as a perfect and flawless company to benchmark for best management practices. It's a software development company that originated in 1976, it is used by many well-known firms for decision making processes through gathering or examining business data or information. Furthermore, SAS is also famous for being a developer in its own business culture. The main reason behind SAS success is their ability to support their main resources and their assets. These creative assets arise by some forms containing the administration's culture, HR practices, decision making, strategic controlling, integrity, and mission and vision.
SAS is the leader in corporate analytics software and facilities, and the largest self-regulating dealer in the business. With advanced software and facilities, SAS authorizes and stimulates consumers around the world to convert data into intelligence. SAS is one of the few successful companies who state that their success is just because of their employees, they have appreciated their employees on every occasion to remind them they are important for the company. At SAS they have established an exceptional way of handling and leading employees by cheering invention and gentle attitude (SAS, 2020).

The mission or vision statement of SAS states that “our purpose is to deliver verified solutions that provide enterprise innovation and enhance performance". Because of this SAS has the lowest number of employee turnover, huge consumer relations, and it the largest private company with a profit of around 3 billion dollars.
Fundamental principles of management
The strategic management of the SAS includes the groundwork or implementation of the initial goals, they provide their staff or employees time to work on sensational or inspiring developments. They try to concentrate on their business area of analytics, to provide the best software to the world. SAS is dedicated to implementing a working environment based on morality, equality, and accountability, containing each action or interaction with its employees, consumers, vendors, and competitors. These standards have a huge and massive impact on the employees working within SAS. Their dedication to these values is shown from their work in 2014, in which SAS did not have any single issue or negative incident regarding public privacy, employee privacy, corruption, ethics and morals, inducement, discrimination, harassment, or any non-compliance fine.
The systematic thinking approach of SAS linked with the decision making the culture of SAs as since their origin in 1976, they have focused on developing superior organizational culture. For instance, they believe in developing advanced analytical technologies to make the unimaginable imaginable. They believe in encouraging their employees to change the world and provide individuals the power to change (Business, 2020).
