Write a mock email for the following situation:
You are asking a professor for a letter of recommendation.
Criteria for success
· Subject line is clear and specific
· Use (or make up) a professional email address. It should include your name or initials. School email or a gmail address is fine.
· Address the recipient of the email professionally.
· Be short and to the point. Be clear as to why you're writing and what the request is.
· Including a closing that includes the action you'd like the person to take, if any. If none, thank them for their time.
· Sign off professionally. (Closing line, your name)
· Create a useful email signature at the bottom of the message. Include name, professional email, phone number, LinkedIn URL (i you have one).
