Students will develop a power-point on one of the following maternal/newborn care topics.

Use the ATI Skills Module -Maternal Newborn when developing this power-point and a minimum of one evidence-based research article.

The power-point must include:

· easy to read and follow the information.

· a brief description of the topic

· the benefits of the topic

· the contraindications/risks of the topic

· the nurse's role 

· patient education

· a minimum of two pictures

· breastfeeding

· cesarean section

· epidural

· infant bonding

· water birth

· delayed cord clamping
