Matching product and audience strategy is an important factor to consider while making marketing decisions. The product and audience match is also dependent on the audience you are interested in serving and also how the marketer wants to serve their audience. The purpose of the product/audience matching strategy is important for advertising the business goals. A product and audience match strategy can also help create awareness of a business brand which would create a connection with the appropriate business audience. A product and audience match strategy can also play a role in ensuring that particular information and product distribution channel is achieved.

There are a variety of audiences that I can market myself currently periodically, either daily, weekly, or rather monthly. Some of these audiences that I would use currently include some of my potential employers with who I would work. Homebuyers can also form a good audience to help in marketing and making home sales. Friends whom we work within the business sector.  Home sellers who have stalls and shops and business in the local areas can also form a good audience and help me in making sales to a larger market. Social media groups which are made of friends and different kind of people linked together by different factors (Genderen, 2014). Vendors or suppliers at wholesale stores, colleagues at my current working stations who can help me in creating a good network, and finally the societal segments in terms of social class and ethnic groups.

The eight different all serve their special and specific purposes in ensuring that the product and audience match strategy is fully achieved. The potential employers help me in marketing the potential employers and impressing the market. This could help me to reassure my employees to work comfortably with me. Homebuyers are also helpful in helping make home sales and find more buyers. Friends of goodwill can also help me make the business go viral and therefore get more customers.

Home sellers are important in helping me make a fast sell. Social media groups are also helpful in achieving and connecting with the customers. Vendors and suppliers at the stores are also important in the distribution channel (Edvardsson, et al, 2014). Colleagues at work and societal segments are also important in ensuring that the distribution process is made easier and successfully achieved. Impressing the audience is important in labeling a brand and maintaining customers also.

Most of the current audiences want a brand that will remain consistent, understands the base of their customers, and is a problem solver. Some of these traits differ depending on the type of audience although some might be similar. For the potential employers marketing skills such as creativity, communication skills, and public speaking to convince them of my capabilities. For home buyers, good interaction people skills, adaptability, and being always sales-minded.

For friends, engagements, listening, experience, and knowledge are important characteristics. Home sellers require empathy, confidence, and presentation skills or marketing skills to convince and advise them accordingly. Social media groups require influential characters, persuasiveness, and great marketing skills. Vendors require supervision, leadership, adaptability, and attention. Colleagues require attention, being trustful, and friendliness. Societal segments require creativity, critical and analytical thinkers.

Other prospective audiences can be the use LinkedIn in the management of professional identity and advertising the brand. The other types of a prospective audience can be certain industries or companies and fans as well. LinkedIn is a type of social media platform of its kind which can be used in building the awareness of a brand to its consumers and also improving the relationships (Daum, 2013). Industries or companies can also be prospective audiences and they can be my consumers to my products. Fans are also another form of the prospective audience who could be equally helpful in creating awareness of my products and services as well.  Just like the other types of audiences, the prospective audience also has certain characteristics which they would expect from me. First is literacy that is a good educational background especially for LinkedIn, connections, and the location of my company or offices.

For the companies or industries, consistency, quality services, and good leadership skills are important. For the fans, good communication skills, mentorship skills, and motivation are important features required.  The audiences should match with the desired attributes listed above. However, there can occur some disparities that are in the instances whereby they do not match. Starting with the current audiences, it is important to understand and interact well with potential employers. For the home buyers, interacting with them well makes sure that the business is maintained. Engaging friends to get new ideas and corrections, home sellers require good marketing skills to convince them why they should go for your product. Social media groups also require influential characters to ensure that you win their attention.

Vendors should be supervised to ensure everything is in order. And lastly, colleagues ought to be respected and ensure that trust is maintained. For prospective audiences such as LinkedIn, professionalism is maintained to win the trust of consumers (Edvardsson, et al, 2014). Companies and industries consistency to maintain them and lastly communicating with fans to maintain the bond and love. Discrepancies can occur in cases whereby there is a lack of strategies and well down objectives, either in the current or prospective audiences.

It is significantly important to ensure that a better match between the target audience and product is maintained. Some of the attributes such as good communication skills with the audience are important to ensure that the audience gives feedback on everything. Having empathy and understanding the needs of the audience is also basic. Having good knowledge could also help understand the demands of the audience and correcting any discrepancies that might occur. Flexibility is also important in ensuring that the products match with the audiences. Product You is helpful for communication purposes. I would comparatively change and adjust it to my professional brand to ensure that the audience gets my true voice and serve them accordingly.

From this exercise, it is important to understand the needs of my consumers. It is also important to understand the different types of audiences while designing a strategy. Different audiences have different needs which are good to understand all to serve them purposely. The most important trait in marketing is having good communication skills and good leadership, flexibility, and interactive skills. About myself, being flexible is an important aspect that I should have, and understanding the needs of all my audiences to purposely serve them accordingly.
