Problem-Solving Essay: Part 1

The problem in the scenario is that I have not attained my Bachelor's degree yet, and I have

gotten a chance for a better position that comes with lots of benefits in another company. The new

job requires one to have a master's degree. The company I am currently working for reimburses my

tuition fee; if I consider taking the new position that is being offered to me, I will have to fully

cater to my tuition fee because I still must attain my Bachelor's degree and later enroll for a

master's degree (Seed, 2017). The biggest problem is how I would pay for this education. I must

come up with an answer that will allow me to be through with my finals and advance my education

while getting a good salary that makes me pay for my tuition. No matter the direction I take, I must

complete my education.

In the event that I decide to remain at my present position, I will actually want to finish my

finals and achieve the Bachelor's degree. In this situation, I could have a new position if I wanted

to, but it means I will have to cater for my education since I assume the company does not

reimburse tuition fees for employees who are still in school. The time frame for me to start the new

position is during the final week of my exams. Even though the new position will be an extensive

pay raise from my current position, they will not compensate me for furthering my education. In

the event that I take this new position, I should pay for all my future education with cash on hand

or find different methods.

Then again, the new position likewise has a vehicle stipend and pays for my relocation.

(Seed, 2017). However, with the vehicle stipend, I can set aside money by not having vehicle costs,

which could help cover any additional educational cost. Since my former supervisor recommended

me for the position, I know someone in the city. But do I have any other family or friends in the area?

How great am I at adapting to new areas, will I like the new place, is the organization stable?

And will I like the organization's overall culture? (Rahman, 2019
