Princess,

This is a substantive and interesting article for your (new) topic. What's missing from your summary is adequate mention of the contradictions that the two authors expose in the “new liberties “ for Saudi women. They identify that some women will still be under men’s rule; they identify that some women who were actively working for reform have been jailed and are still in prison for that offense; they say that social class and levels of education can impact whether individual women actually experience greater freedoms now. Something needs to be said in your annotation about these contradictory forces that may keep the Crown Prince’s decidedly progressive decision less impactful than it might seem at first glance.

Be sure to correct the citation and include the names of the authors who wrote this article in the New York Times.
