Part 1

Various authors exist and they are those that have written about different perspectives and at different time zones. There are those that wrote about issues in the past while the others are writing of the current issues and those that are occurring at the moment. At times, it becomes difficult to identify the specific author and date of writing especially if not indicated in a piece of writing. Therefore, the following discussion revolves around this issue of identification of the authors and the moment when a given piece of writing was done.

By looking at the document, it can be argued that the author of the document was an environmentalist who tried to show how the animals and also the human beings existed in the environment. By looking at the document, it can also be deduced that the document was dated for the 18th century since it is talking of the beginning. As an example, the document reveals the manner that the animals could look for their meals in the environment and also try as much as possible to protect themselves from their intruders. The person may also be a professional in the environment and would be of the male gender since they are the majority of the people who tend to study the interaction between the animals especially by observing the behaviors of such animals. The intended audience would be the fellow environmentalists and the time period of composing the document would be somewhere in the 18th century. Also, the document appears to be a primary source since the information is coming from a person who has studied the behavior of the animals, the environment and the people. The context of the document is showing the manner that animals survived in their environment and the manner that the people would also behave differently from the animals. The historical significance is that of trying to show how situations were in the past especially how the animals and human beings survived. As for the information regarding the times when the source was written, it can be revealed that a limited interaction between the human beings and animals was being realized. Part 2

After rereading the document severally and trying to search it in the internet, dissimilar findings were obtained. As an example, an essential insight was gained into the information presented in the document. As an example, it was realized that this is a document written by a historian and the one that was dated in the current century unless in part 1 where it appeared to have been written by an environmentalist. The gender of the person was also a male person but the class or professionalism of this person was an historian. The intended audience are also the fellow historians especially the learners and this document was composed within the 21st century. The context of the document is trying to show that the animals existed differently from human beings. As an example, the animals would only engage in sexual intercourse merely for production unlike the human beings who could also use it for refreshment. The document is also a secondary source and being of the type of a journal. Its historical significance is trying to show that in the past, the interaction between the human beings and the animals was not as it is today[footnoteRef:1]. In the past, it was greatly limited and animals could survive on their own to obtain food and security unlike it is today where such animals greatly rely on human beings for food and protection. The tone of the document is that of persuasion to persuade people about the past. Regarding the information being presented by the document concerning the moment that the source was written, it is intended to inform about the limited desire to investigate during that moment. However, as time went, a great desire for investigation and finding the truth arose especially where humans developed a habit of finding the truth and developing a habit of caring. Needs to provide specific details on who wrote this, when, and for what purpose. The second part of the assignment is to reveal the specific piece and who close your deductions in part one came to the truth.
