Comment: The “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” print is a sermon published by British Colonial Christian theologian Edward Jonathan in his preaching at Enfield. It aimed to connect his preaching to his believers in Northampton, Massachusetts, to enhance extreme impact like in Enfield, Connecticut. The preaching of the sermon acted as a catalyst for the First Great Awakening. Regardless of being interrupted severely by people moaning, he finally passed his message that hell and heaven are real.
