Instructions

A System of Linear Equations is when we have two or more linear equations involved in the same problem. Create a Voiceover Presentation where you—

· Your instructor will provide you with a system of equations. Please reach out on Monday of Week 4 if you did not receive the system, you are supposed to use on this presentation.

· Pick  TWO of the following ways to solve the systems of equations that you were assigned.

A. Substitution Method

B. Elimination Method

C. By Graphing

Hint: You should get the same answer for both methods.

Your presentation should be done in PowerPoint with Voice Over and should be 2 - 3 minutes in length.

Please use the attached PowerPoint template for your presentation.

This week you are asked to complete a presentation showing how you solve a system of equations with multiple methods. I HIGHLY recommend you try graphing as one of these methods! Using a graphing calculator (like the one at  www.desmos.com ) will REALLY help with your work moving forward, and showing how to graph a system and solve it is not only fast and robust (100% as high-quality as with an algebraic method) but it teaches you new ways to work with equations that will help immensely in the second half of the course. Here is the system that you should solve: 4x + 10y = 2 x - 10y = 13 Please be sure to transcribe the equation carefully. It is very easy to misplace a positive or negative! This is listed in the week 4 welcome announcement as well.
