Relationship between Spending on Healthcare per Capita and Life Expectancy in Different Country.

Healthcare spending affects life expectancy.

Germany spends about $5472.2 on healthcare per annum, whereas the U.S spends $10623.85.

In Ghana, the health per capita is $77.91, while in Brazil, it's $848.39.

Thus, the more a country spends on healthcare, the higher the life expectancy.

Countries with high health per capita, such as Germany and the United States, have higher life expectancies. The life expectancy in Germany is 81 years, while in America its 79 years old. The life expectancy in Ghana is 64 years, while in Brazil its 76 years.

2

Healthcare Systems in Germany

The government highly funds the German healthcare system.

The other 89% is covered by public health insurance, and the amount contributed is determined by the employee's salaries.

Healthcare offers the Germans health, accident, and long-term care insurance.

Both the employer and employee contribute to long-term care, usually 2% of the annual salary.

The Germans get to choose the insurance company to insure them, and there are almost one hundred and twenty-three health insurance companies. German has progressed in reducing the waiting time for appointments. All citizens are required by state law to have health insurance, and about 11% of the people have private insurance cover. The employer covers the accident insurance, which is payable for accidents that can happen while commuting to and from work.

3

Healthcare Systems in the United States

In the United States, the healthcare system is not universal.

Most of the health care facilities are owned privately.

Most of the health care charges are paid for by the government.

Recently there has been an increase in the number of people without health insurance.

America's health care system is both complex and expensive and the system is complex since it consists of various insurance companies, healthcare givers, and independent healthcare facilities. Due to these, it has led to Americans finding it difficult to access health care. They also claim that it is not affordable, which has led to a rise in the mortality rate. While the community hospitals are not for profit. When providing health care services, the system uses both private and public health coverage. Getting healthcare in the county has been viewed as very expensive, and it is claimed that Americans do not easily access healthcare.

4

Healthcare systems in Ghana

In Ghana, the government is responsible for healthcare provision, though the amount allocated for healthcare is limited.

In rural areas, people must travel long distances to access medical care.

National health care is a one-time policy whereby the people are required to pay once, and they will be able to access healthcare for a lifetime.

The system faces some challenges since the amount paid by the individuals to cover a lifetime treatment is not sufficient.

Healthcare in Ghana is not well established since it's been operational since the pre-colonial period. Initially, the Ghanaians used to consult traditional healthcare givers to access health care services. The healthcare facilities are primarily concentrated in the urban centers with few centers in the rural areas. The county developed health care insurance since the people were unable to pay for the medical care.

5

Healthcare systems in Brazil

In Brazil, healthcare provision is the responsibility of the government.

The country has established numerous healthcare facilities in various parts to enable serving the citizens throughout the country.

The government is highly influenced to monitor the environment, which helps to slow down risks of diseases.

The move has been enabled through World Bank loans which assist the government in setting up research centers and train the researchers on environmental surveillance.

Over the years, Brazil’s healthcare sector has been improving. The country is focused on expanding the health care system to reach rural areas. The projects have been successful since it has managed to set up healthcare facilities throughout the country. The government fulfills this mandate through the ministry of health. Congress plans an annual budget, and the main objective is reducing the children's mortality rate. The leading hospitals have smaller hospital units that are spread throughout the country.

SWOT Analysis for Germany

The strength of the German healthcare system is that the government highly funds it.

The drug company's weakness may likely encounter while marketing its drugs there is that the county already has well-established cancer patient care systems. Thus, it might be challenging to join the market.

The opportunity in the county is that there is a well-organized insurance system.

The threat likely to be encountered is competition from other cancer drug manufacturing companies.

German has a well-established healthcare system which makes it easy to predict. Also, with the few insurance companies, it becomes easier for the marketing team to approach them The government reduced the insurance companies to one hundred and twenty-three. With this organization, it's easier to promote the drugs in the company. With the intensive government funding, there is a likelihood that the healthcare facilities will afford the Comanapracil for cancer patients.

7

SWOT Analysis for the United States

The strength of the healthcare system in the country is there are a majority of wealthy people in the society. Due to these, they can afford to pay for the Comanapracil drugs.

The weakness in the country is the complexity of the health care system.

The opportunity in the country's healthcare is that there are numerous health care facilities that the company can approach to promote its drugs (Toth, 2021).

The threat that the country faces is competition from other health care providers. Since numerous health care givers, it might be difficult for the company to penetrate the market.

America has an extensive health care system that might inhibit other companies' entry due to the competition. Comanapracil drug store needs to approach some healthcare facilities to promote their products directly to them.

8

SWOT Analysis for Ghana

The strength encountered while providing healthcare in Ghana is that the country has few people compared to other countries.

The weaknesses it is likely to encounter is that the country has a flawed transport system, which slows down the movement of goods and services.

The opportunities available in Ghana are that the government is focused on setting up mote health facilities to offer treatment to the people in rural areas.

The threat that the company is likely to encounter is the lack of government support.

Ghana's healthcare system has been going through some development since the pre-colonial era. The development has been slow, which might inhibit the sale of Comanapracil drugs in the country. The transport sector would slow down the development of health care facilities in rural areas. As the government is developing treatment centers, the Comanapracil company can partner with it to treat cancer patients.

9

SWOT Analysis for Brazil

The strength in marketing Comanapracil in Brazil is the extensive hospital network.

The company's weakness while supplying the drugs is that the country might be unable to afford large volumes of cancer drugs.

The company's opportunities are that it might partner with the government cancer research centers to help promote the drugs.

The threats that the company might come across are government barriers and restrictions to enter the market.

The Brazilian market would be ideal for the drug company to introduce the Comanapracil cancer drugs since the hospital network is intensive. The government has been focusing on establishing healthcare facilities throughout the country. Due to the intensive network, the company can easily supply drugs in the country. Since medical care is government-controlled, it might be hard for the government to allow a foreign company to venture into the market.

10

Two Countries Most Attractive for Marketing Comanapracil

The United States and Germany are the most attractive counties to promote the drug. The healthcare systems are well developed, and most of the people have medical cover.

Treating cancer is costly, and most of the patients require insurance to cater for the expenses (Kane & Turnbull, 2019).

Marketing the drug in countries without well-established health systems will not be beneficial to the company.

The two countries have also invested heavily in research which will make them able to incorporate the drug with the other existing cancer treatments.

The level of technology in healthcare determines the kind of drugs to introduce to a country. In less developed countries such as Ghana, it would be inappropriate to introduce the medicine due to the disparity in technology. Also marketing Comanapracil needs to be done in countries whereby the patients can adequately pay for it to earn the drug company some profits.
