Focus
Student teams will present a summary of the proposed organizational change and implementation plan from the Organizational Change project.
The audience for the presentation is the Board of Directors and leadership team from the selected organization.
The goal of the presentation is to gain the support of the organization for the proposed change.
Format
The prepared presentation will be 10 minutes in length and will be followed by 10 minutes for audience questions (approximately 10 questions).
Teams should select the presentation format that is most effective for the material. PowerPoint slides may be used, but are not required. If PowerPoint slides are used, a maximum of 10 content slides is suggested (1 minute per slide).
Overall Effectiveness
Some characteristics of effective presentations include:
Focus- The presentation has a clear central focus.
Organization- Ideas are logically organized with a clear introduction and conclusion.
Visual Elements- Visual elements are used to support important points.
Teamwork- Team members each make meaningful contributions.
Attention- The presentation gains and holds the audience's attention.
Engagement - The audience is actively engaged throughout the presentation.
Call to Action- The presentation concludes with a persuasive call to action.
