Project Scope Statement
Capella University
Project and product objectives.
The objective of the project is to describe the project of Planet Inc. desires to relocate its data center from California to Austin, Texas and this process is required to occur seamless in order to ensure minimum impact on clients.
Product or service requirements.
· Startup income by the owners to cover the operational costs in the initiation process from feasibility study
· Technical and financial ability of the potential to carry out as well manage the works from preliminary stage to construction till the operation and maintenances of the project.
· Building, structures, functional facilities and transport should be completely considered
· Vehicles are needed for transporting
· Hired designated agent by the owners:

· Project coordinator
Product acceptance criteria.
Acceptance method will maintain thorough cross checking as well as effective completion of the project that tends to be qualitative as well as quantitative. Maximum acceptance criteria should be met so as to attain the effectiveness of the project: meet all the deliverables as well as milestones in scheduled time as well as per project requirements; and 100% return of investment after 2 years of business operation (Chen, et al., 2013).
Project boundaries.
The project process will involve five phases which will include stage 1 involves launching the project; stage 2 will involve developing a team; stage 3 will developing an execution plan; stage 4 will work on transporting the material and the last stage will involve transportation.
Project assumptions.
Functionality: the scope of the project is limited to the explained in the project charter. Formal charter and scope change procedure will be implemented.
Budgetary: The moving funds of the owners will be accessible on approval of the project charter
Resources: Required employees will be accessible when and as requires; equipment will be accessible on when as well as they need
Project constraints.
Some constrains have been identified for this project. It is imperative that considerations be made for the constraints throughout the project lifecycle. All stakeholder should remain mindful of these constraints since they should be effectively planned for to prevent any adverse effects of the project’s schedule, expense as well as scope.

Initial risk assessment.
We visited Austin being where the firm was relocating to. We identified the potential hazards, ie anything that could cause harm to our firm; identified that parties that would be harmed; we assessed the risks and identified the potential solutions to these issues (WORKSMART, 2021).
