Conclusion
25
Usefulness and convenience will direct whether employees use social media or not
Employees may be more inclined to use social media if they have positive attitudes towards it resulting from it convenience and the fact that it facilitates the flow of information
The hierarchal structure of traditional organizations with fixed roles and job responsibilities are changing to an environment where the roles of employees are multiple and flexible
Employees may use social media for both personal and professional reasons and may utilize social media to communicate efficiently and increase work productivity
All five independent variables have a statistically significant impact on employee engagement as evidenced by the low P values of the ANOVA tests
Social media use in advertising has the greatest effect, which is more than 70 % as opposed to others.
