Elysium, Film n Elysium is a film that takes place in two ‘spheres’ in 2154 (138

years from now) when the poorest inhabitants live on earth, where overpopulation and health problems pervade, while the wealthy live in Elysium, an outer atmosphere full of wealth and power, and where any sickness can be cured. Those living on earth serve as a ‘reserve army of labor,’ and cannot move to Elysium as immigrants unless they receive special permission from the President of the outer space world.
