Mid-level Performance Monitoring Specialist Meet and Greet

Background (Morgan):

This position is with the Agency Learning and Evidence (ALE) Team in the Office of Learning Evaluation and Research in the Bureau for Policy Planning and Learning (PPL/LER).  The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in or familiarity with reporting against strategic plans, identifying problems and proposing solutions or drafting guidance or policy to address those problems, collaborating across stakeholder groups, strong communication skills and detail orientation. You’ll work in a people-first environment that promotes entrepreneurship, rewards innovation and growth, and encourages our employees to think strategically to develop solutions that drive long-lasting value for our federal customers.

The role will:

· Serve as PPL co-lead for Agency Joint Strategic Plan implementation along with USAID’s Management Bureau. 

. This includes: getting stakeholder input, compiling, reviewing and clearing the Annual Performance Plan and Report, the performance section of the Agency Financial Report, and preparing senior leaders to participate in the annual Strategic Review of JSP implementation with OMB. 

· Lead several aspects of cross-agency governance on issues related to data, performance monitoring, and reporting.

· Support guidance development and field questions around annual Performance Plan and Report process

· Conceive and develop Agency policies or guidance related to these functions.  

· Engage key internal and external stakeholders, at multiple levels 

· Support evidence utilization through development and dissemination of user-friendly knowledge products. 

· Support capacity building of Agency staff in applying evidence across the Program Cycle.
