This is projected as a group assignment. The group will consider all complementary health strategies, methods and techniques to manipulate your patient's environment to promote and maximize the healing process. Guidelines to follow. You want to be able to show & tell.

GUIDELINES:

Purpose: To show & tell the value of a healthy environment by deliberately applying CAM strategies and techniques

Objectives: the student group will

1. create 3 healthy environments for patients ( hospital, home health and community)

2. target your patient ( children, adults, older adults)

3. select 3 CAM  strategies or techiques define, discuss and apply to each scenario

4. each CAM should address the patient's mind, body and spirit. In other words address the concept of wholism/holistic care

5. this is a visual presentation therefore you should have visuals

6. content must be evidence-based in order to be credible, cited and referenced
