The lack of educational opportunities should top the list of priorities for the UN meeting. This is a problem that threats the ability of the global economy to grow. Illiteracy is one of the biggest challenges to effective economic development. The problem hits all countries all over the world, but mainly affects the developing countries. Such countries lack the proper infrastructure to support a good education for all the children.

There is a major reason why the lack of educational opportunities should be addressed. This lowers increases the rate of poverty for the countries, which is not good for the UN.
