How justice system is used to create the new Jim Crow America

Below are potential topics for your group research project and paper.  All of these topics  come from the book The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness.   You are more than welcome to come up with another topic inspired by the book, but  you should probably run it by me for some feedback.
