!  It has some limitations

!  This has led to the considerations of replacing it.

!  There is a growing demand for an improved efficacy and the performance of the lithium ion batteries (LIBs)

!  This is to allow for the performance of wide range of applications.

!  The development of the alternative energy is gaining momentum

!  There is scarcity of the Lithium resources

!  Lithium is unevenly distribution.

!  Objective: to discuss the advantages of Potassium Batteries AeroGel as the alternative source of energy to Lithium Ions.

!  Potassium-Ion Batteries perfect replacement for LIBs.

!  Potassium exist in abundance

!  There is reduced cost as compared to lithium.

!  Standard electrode potential of K/K+ vs. standard hydrogen electrode is lower

!  PIBs is operating at higher voltage closer to that of LIBs.

!  There is an improved energy density.

!  There is higher conductivity with the use of Potassium electrolytes

!  Graphite ne can be used as a negative electrode material because it accommodate reversible K-ion de or intercalation (Liu,!et!al.,!2019).
