Organizational Diagnosis
Currently am working in a financial institution. The goal of the project underway is to append digital auto payment functionality for customers with mortgage loans instead of filling paper forms at the banks in person for enabling recurring payments monthly/bi-weekly. Upon taking the organizational diagnosis, my organization stands close to the optimum functioning in most of the factors except very few. That said, I want to talk more about each of them in detail below.
Purposes, Leadership, and structure of the organization are very much close to 1 whose average scores are 1.6, 1.8 and 1.8. From above, it's evident that my organization is precise on what it wants; our supervisor is always reachable to the team for any assistance with respect to the project along with dividing and delegating each one of us with the right load working towards the deliverables. Rewards, helpful mechanisms and relationships are scored with 2.2, 2.6 and 2.4. Our manager hosts an acknowledgment meet to acknowledge any person’s effort from the team for the month. We take 15-20 mins of our lunch time to play table tennis, or a few other games avail inside the workspace ensuring a healthy/friendly relationship with the team.
As we are working for the deliverable that is service-oriented and banking domain especially, any decision taken in terms of various aspects is very crucial as it will be having an immediate effect on the customers. So, though it is a gap, it is needed as the decisions cannot be taken in rush for this kind of service offered. Attitude for change scored with an average score of 4.2. For some reason, there are very few or no events that involve the family of the team members. I feel my organization with family-oriented scored 4.0 in which it needs to work on.
