Choose an aspect of American popular Music between the years of 1920 and 1960. There is a list of possible topics below. You are NOT limited to this list.
1. Length – 3-5 pages, typed, double-spaced and using 12-point font
2. Your essay needs to include the following components:
a. A title that reflects the topic of your essay. Be creative!
b. An introductory paragraph. The introduction presents your topic and prepares the reader for the content to come in the body of the essay.
c. The body of your essay presents details, descriptions, opinions, etc. that will help to explain your topic more fully.
d. A summary paragraph concludes your essay with more general statements about the topic (and possibly avenues for further exploration).
