POLLUTION 4

Running Head: POLLUTION 1

Pollution is the introduction of any substance be it liquid, solid or gas to the natural environment at a rate faster than it can be dispensed, diluted, decomposed, recycled or stored in some harmless form, Jerry A Nathanson. Pollutions are either classified as Air pollution, water pollution or land pollution. However modern society further classify pollution as Noise pollution, Light pollution and Plastic pollution. Pollution of any kind have devastating negative effects on the ecosystem, environment, wildlife and human beings. Therefore it is important to find a lasting remedy to this problem that affects humanity globally (Bleam, 2016).

A case study of China and US reveals how livelihoods have been affected by the eminent pollution in form of plastics garbage’s and Air pollution in that area. Studies carried out across the globe in major 650 cities of the world links air pollution to the death of elderly people and those already suffering from various illness to be more vulnerable. Air pollution causes respiratory diseases, cardiovascular damages, and harm to the liver, spleen and respiratory organs and blood.

Pollution is an eminent threat to our livelihood and therefore we need to avoid it at all cost. Pollution is caused by emissions from different modes of transport, burning of fossil fuels, industrial activities and forest fires. Emissions includes gases such as Sculpture dioxide, Nitrogen dioxide and suspended matter.in order to alleviate the effects of pollution we need to reduce emission of harmful chemicals to the environment and promote us of renewable energy as alternative to fuel energy that we use. In addition recycling and reuses of various products this will ensure clean and safe society to live in.

To people need to be educated on the need to conserve and to maintain a clean environment to ensure proper garbage disposal and best waste management practises.to achieve this both governments, on governmental organization, the cooperate business people and multi agencies teams should pull in one direction to ensure sustainability of policies and implementation to ensure healthy and productive environment.
