The goal is to complete a policy analysis. You will
submit a video and PowerPoint* presentation based
on your research:
The PowerPoint* will be the research on the
particular policy that you have chosen
The Video** will be of you explaining the PowerPoint
*While PowerPoint is the most accessible program to
use, you are open to use other programs that help
support the same objective.
**You are encouraged to use the program you are
most comfortable then upload to YouTube and
provide the link so that I will be able to view

• Passed by the House and moved to the Senate in
conjunction with the John R. Lewis Voting Rights
Advancement Act of 2021.
• Aimed at formalizing a standard set of voting laws at a
federal level
• Intended to protect the rights of all Americans from any state
laws enacted that could restrict access to voting for some
Americans
• Despite the false claims that the 2021 election was full of
fraud, states began passing voting laws that were going to
make voting more difficult for many, including restricting
voting locations and mail in voting.
