2. Current status of organisation & HRM functions

On 14th March 2023, HF Holidays announced a new position “HR& Wellbeing Manager”. This new position is an essential member of an HR & People team. The HR& well-being Manager will be responsible for:

· Lead on best practices for the reward and recognition of staff,

· Support teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and well-being.

· Actively involved in the launch, delivery and embedding of Society’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and Sustainability plans.

· Provide generalist HR and legislative expertise with Employee Relations and people matters.

3. Transition and development process

The business world doesn’t stand still, and neither does the HRBP. Reskilling, upskilling, technology adaption, strategic workforce planning, retooling business culture to fit a digital workforce, and concentrating on the employee experience are all necessary parts of the future of HR (Vulpen, 2021).

And as HF Holidays continue to diversify its programmes and portfolio, the company should look for high-calibre people to join the Human Resources team as  HR Business Partners.
