Self-Plagiarism occurs when a student purposefully uses work that they have submitted in a previous class without substantial revision and checking with their current instructor.

Examples:

• A student retaking ENG110 submits an assignment that they used in the previous ENG110 class without substantial revision and checking with their current instructor.

• A student in HIS101 submits the exact paper he/she wrote in ENG110 without substantial revision and checking with their current instructor.
