OVERALL COMMENTS
Hello Eduardo,
Great start! The purpose of the assessment is to practice applying the PICO(T) framework to your research question. The PICO(T) framework intends to expedite the searching process while giving you a systemic method to do so. Please review my feedback and if you have any questions, please contact me.
I do not see the explanation of the PICO(T) framework, or the PICO(T) question. Also the first paragraph mentions a study but I do not see a source.
Perseverance and hard work always prevails!
Respectfully,
Dr. Rosas
RUBRICS
CRITERIA 1
Define a practice issue to be explored via a PICO(T) approach and develop a PICO(T)-formatted research question.COMPETENCY
Apply an evidence-based practice model to address a practice issue.
NON_PERFORMANCEDoes not define a practice issue to be explored via a PICO(T) approach.
BASICIdentifies a practice issue, but does not frame it within the context of a PICO(T) question or approach.

DISTINGUISHEDDefines a practice issue to be explored via a PICO(T) approach. Develops a PICO(T)-formatted research question. Notes how the exploration of the practice issue will benefit from a PICO(T) approach.
COMMENTS:
Good start by defining a practice issue; however, you did not frame it within the context of a PICO(T) question or approach. In order to earn a distinguished designation level, you also needed to note how the exploration of the practice issue will benefit from a PICO(T) approach. Addressing all the components of this criterion in your rubric would earn a higher competency level. If you would like to, please highlight any changes to ensure that I do not miss any of your edits.
It stands for:
· P – Patient/population/problem.
· I – Intervention.
· C – Comparison (of potential interventions, typically).
· O - Outcome(s).
· T - Time frame (if time frame is relevant).

COMMENTS:
You did well identifying sources of evidence, but did not connect them to the PICO(T) question/the connection was unclear. If you would like to, please highlight any changes to ensure that I do not miss any of your edits.

COMMENTS:
While you listed the findings from your sources of evidence, you did not offer a full explanation. In addition, to earn full credit here you needed to note which sources are the most credible. I encourage you to refer back to the rubric to ensure all criterions are met. If you would like to, please highlight any changes to ensure that I do not miss any of your edits.

DISTINGUISHEDExplains the relevance of the findings from chosen sources of evidence to making decision related to a PICO(T) question. Notes which findings are the most relevant or likely to lead to positive outcomes.
COMMENTS:
I see you identified the relevance of the findings from chosen sources of evidence; however, you did not offer a full explanation. I encourage you to refer back to the rubric to ensure you cover all expected criteria. If you would like to, please highlight any changes to ensure that I do not miss any of your edits.
