Variables of Study

In today's society, gender inequality is a major issue. This issue has exacerbated poverty, particularly in emerging countries. Because of its significance, the current study will critically examine global disparity between men and women. A wide range of material is studied from the perspectives of microeconomics and macroeconomics, as well as emerging and developed countries, to obtain a feel of the role that gender equality plays in the development and growth process. Women, on average, have less economic chances to better their lives over the world. They are frequently constrained in terms of education, wealth ownership, monetary compensation for their labor, financial options, and the ability to influence family and societal decision-making.

The variable is therefore:

Gender, as self-reported, a categorical-nominal (dichotomous) level of measurement.

Income, as self-reported, a categorical-ordinal level of measurement
