1. Create Charge Configurations
Online Simulation: https://phet.colorado.edu/en/simulations/charges-and-fields
· Two identical point charges
· An electric dipole
· An electric quadrupole
· A capacitor
· Self-designed charge distribution #1
· Self-designed charge distribution #2
For each of the charge configurations, please include the following stuff:
A. Final screenshot: showing the electric field lines and several equipotential lines ( see example )
B. Description of your picture: how are your charges distributed; how the electric field lines and equipotential lines look like
C. Calculation: how you might calculate the electric field in that distribution (as detailed as possible)
D. You can also do some simple research to add more information about the charge configuration you are working on
E. Please cite the sources (if any) and highlight your in-text citation with different color:
-- you don’t need to use any format, just simply list the author and date, and add a link;
-- using the sources that can be found on Google Scholar or having BibTeX already. If you get information from a website, please try to use your own words to paraphrase rather than copying and pasting (just in case the website you use cannot be shown on Overleaf project)
